Overview

While Dr. Strange wrestles with the Defenders' curse, Namor storms the bastions of Atlantis, determined to take his kingdom back from the conqueror Attuma! And with the Hulk and the Silver Surfer dealing with upheavals in their own lives, only Nighthawk, Valkyrie and Hellcat are available to meet the threat posed by the horrific Headmen!

Detailed Summary

Namor swims back to Atlantis and fights his way into Attuma's presence. He is angry that the other Defenders aren't there to help him.

Dr. Strange tries to figure out Yandroth's curse on the "big four" Defenders, and the others go out on the town to relax.

Meanwhile, the Defender's old villains, the Headmen, attack a museum and steal an ancient artifact. The Defenders show up and defeat them, but the Headmen manage to escape with the artifact.

Right when Namor finally attacks Attuma, the curse reactivates, and he, Strange, the Hulk, and the Surfer are once again teleported away.
